Cinnamon Roll Smoothie

I hope everyone had a great Christmas, and I wish you all a very happy new year! I have to say that my first vegan Christmas was most definitely a (very tasty) success and I hope that all yours were too! This next recipe is perfect for when you fancy something sweet but you know you've had way too many mince pies already and could really do with getting some goodness in you. The riper the bananas and persimmon, the better as they'll be much sweeter, so don't worry if your bananas have gone brown or that the persimmon are almost falling apart, this is a perfect way to use them up!

You'll need:


  • Blender
  • Serving jar

Ingredients:


  • 2 medium bananas 
  • 1 soft (ripe) persimmon
  • 5 dates, pitted
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Water

Method:

  1. Add all the ingredients to your blender and top with water, the more water you add the thinner it will be, so if you want a nice thick smoothie 2 cups should be about right.
  2. Blend up until smooth, serve up in a mason jar and enjoy! Cassidy xxx
